Gerard Oates, Managing Director
Gerard, a Chartered Accountant who qualified with Price Waterhouse, now has over 15 years involvement in the lighting industry. He led the MBO of the company in 2001 and is now focused on improving the overall performance of the business. "Arcadia has good distributors in most countries so the key to growth is through new products. Arcadia has been held back in the past by a reluctance to develop these new products. It is now my role to ensure that suitable new products are brought to the market as soon as possible."

Dale Lewis, Northern Sales Representative
Dale joined Arcadia in 2010 as part of  the Arcadia UK sales team and will cover the north of the country.

John Courtney-Smith, Reptile Manager
John joined Arcadia in 2006, and has moved from Sales to became our Reptile Manager, responsible for developing and promoting our reptile product range. John has a passion for keeping reptiles, fish and birds and grew up in the UK Pet Trade. He is a regular contributor to Practical Reptile Keeping magazine and on a number of specialist reptiel forums.

Paul Jackson, Quality Control
Paul joined the Arcadia in 1992 and worked as supervisor of the night shift and the sheet metal fabrication department before becoming QC 3 years ago. Previous experience has been in mechanical engineering. Currently working towards a degree in Engineering with the Open University.
